BRIDGES

As long as the bridge takes you across the other side, it is a good bridge!

A structure that is built over a river, road, or railway to provide a passage for people and vehicles to cross from one side to the other. They began being constructed in ancient times when modern civilizations started rising in Mesopotamia. The earliest bridges were likely made with fallen trees and stepping stones. The Neolithic people built boardwalk bridges across marshland. The Arkadiko Bridge, dating from the 13th century BC, in the Peloponnese is one of the oldest arch bridges in existence and use.
