Hi, we are René and Aggie, a Dutch couple on an European road trip in our self converted van. Originally from Alkmaar and IJmuiden in the Netherlands but since 21 years based in the Catalan region of Spain. 

After the premature deaths of some of our relatives we decided life really is too short. We didn´t want to wait for our retirement so in 2003 we moved with our kids and dogs to the Costa Brava in Spain to discover another way of living. 

We already traveled a lot through Europe and the US but in 2018 our journey by campervan kicked off. To describe the pleasure of freedom is beyond words. We are very aware of the lucky position we're in. You can follow our wander adventures on

Recently I obtained the official EASA certificate to fly my drone in Europe, which now allows me to shoot aerial photos and videos. My drone shots will be highlighted under a separate heading.
